Help me answer the following question: Can the beauty be told without also telling its ugliness? Do I lose authenticity without telling the other side of the same story?
Thank you @Camille and @Roberto, I do not know if my voice is strong enough but I will do my best to find a balance and stay authentic. Roberto I like very much the linkage you make on beauty and trust as key ingredients for change :-)

Very hard dilemma to answer. I think something similar of Camille...Find and tell the beauty because this can help to build trust among people of Calabria and this will facilitate change.

I believe beauty is often accepting ugliness as well, it is the complex emotion we feel when living a reality (and that can never only be beauty). But, I understand it must be hard to do this for Calabria, you are scared that the ugliness you show might prevail over the beauty and disintegrate it, together with your authenticity. Yet, your voice is strong enough to tell us about both and leave us wanting to know more, about the skeleton buildings and the savory smells.
